DSRA MISSION STATEMENT
To be a unifying force representing the needs of current and future Delphi Salaried Retirees and their families by: being a reliable source of pertinent information; communicating and promoting issues that are relevant to the Well Being of its members; and supporting the development of local groups focused on personal involvement in national and local issues.
KEY STRATEGIES
- Remain a point of contact and a source of information for all current and future retirees of Delphi US Operations.
- Inform and act as a watchdog over pension and benefit issues affecting retirees.
- Be a political advocate for Delphi salaried retirees leveraging off all alliances with similar groups where interests align.
- Manage the registration process and provide the opportunity and environment for local groups of registered retirees to meet and work together to support national and local issues and to build close interpersonal relationships.
- Build and maintain a communications network in which registered retirees can assist each other through information sharing.
- Assume financial responsibility of its registered retirees’ contributions to assure that funds are used in a manner to provide the best value for its membership.
